CEWIL Resource Hub: Work Experiences

Students participating in work experiences complete one or two work terms (typically full-time) within their academic program. These work terms provide experience in a workplace setting related to the student's field of study and/or career goals.

Work experience program profiles

Students participating in the Work Learn program are supported in high-quality, part-time, campus-based work experiences through the provision of wage subsidies.
Students participating in the EDGE certificate program develop key professional skills, explore their career options, and market themselves to employers. They can complete academic courses that feature work-integrated learning and co-curricular opportunities that meet a series of criteria.
Students in the Animation program complete a work experience between their third and fourth years of study.
