Reflection
The animation program teaches students a broad range of skills that are applied during the work experience term between the third and fourth year of study. Students are primed for the work experience with a third-year project that asks students to work in teams to develop and create a short film. They also complete a 14-hour course over seven weeks during the fall term preceding the experience that covers résumé preparation, portfolio development, interviewing, and networking. The course also features employer visits and a panel with fourth-year students who are returning to campus after the work experience.
