We are currently recruiting for a Co-op Systems & Services Administrator to work at Lassonde School of Engineering, Office of the Dean. Reporting to the Associate Director, Co-op program and Business Partnership the incumbent provides coordination and administrative support for the co-op/internship program and staff. The incumbent will be responsible for the administration of the departments web based database and electronic application portal (e.g. Orbis) and related processes.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess: Minimum of two years of progressive and recent experience such as working with databases (e.g. building queries, creating reports), maintaining websites/social media, and working with students in a fast paced post-secondary environment. Preference will be given to candidates that experience working in a co-op program or career services office. Technical aptitude with CRM, web based database systems and social media. Experience with Orbis preferred. Basic knowledge of HTML and web design experience would be an asset. Knowledge of student information systems and ability to manipulate data and run reports. Excellent customer services, oral and written communication skills for a variety of audiences such as students, staff, faculty, employers and University partners. Ability to design and develop presentation and promotional content/materials for stakeholders using current technology such as Power Point, Prezi, social Media etc. Outstanding attention to accuracy and detail working cooperatively as a member of a team to meet departmental goals and objectives. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. Good judgement and decision making skills, strong initiative, punctual and reliable. Intermediate to advance skills in MS Office, (Word Excel, PowerPoint), proficiency in electronic mail and computerized scheduling (Lotus notes preferred), Student Information System (SIS), database and social media.
