In a time of global conversation, activism and the need for deeper learning around equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI), it is critical for us to create welcoming environments on our campuses and through our work to ensure all stakeholders are respected, cared for and have equitable opportunity, and that we do our part in dismantling systemic barriers for those who are impacted most. Through this panel series our goal is to provide space for these important conversations to happen as we hear from campus practitioners, employer and community partners and our students on how we can be aware, learn more and make the changes that are needed.
The CEWIL Professional Development Committee is facilitating a three-part series exploring intersections of equity, diversity, and inclusion in Work-Integrated Learning from perspectives of practitioners, employer/partners, and students. Each of these sessions features a diversity of voices and perspectives on this topic.
This series is free for all CEWIL members and will be recorded, and subsequently be made available on CEWIL’s website after the session. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for registration information.
