Considerations for Working Outside of Canada
The Co-operative Education Program formally integrates a student's academic studies with related out-of-classroom experiential learning.
These work terms can be local, national (within Canada) or international (outside of Canada).
It is important to connect with the co-op office at your home institution to see what possibilities exist.
Your co-op office can direct you to various job-search resources.
Connect with the co-op office early: some employers post jobs as early as eight months prior to the work term start date.
There are various international co-op partnership programs to which your college/university may belong: ask your co-op office if you are interested in applying for international opportunities.
